Some Apache and Java based applications require the Root & Intermediate certificates to be bundled in a single file. You can create a certificate bundle by opening a plain text editor (notepad, gedit, etc) and pasting in the text of the root certificate and the text of the intermediate certificate. The order they go in depends on the type of server you are running. Nginx for example concatenates all certificates in one file beginning with the server certificate.
One of the questions we're most often asked is, "how do I download and install my Digital Certificate to my phone?" If you want to encrypt emails or authenticate to corporate networks using your mobile device, installing the certificate can be a bit of a barrier. Fortunately, Digital Certificates are compatible with most of the leading mobile operating systems, so it's easy to implement and enforce the same security policies, even on mobile devices.

There are two main parts to downloading and installing a certificate on an Android device - downloading the PKCS#12 or .pfx file onto the Android and adding it to the device's "credential store". We will take you through the steps involved in each part now. Let's get rolling!
The certificate is now successfully downloaded onto your Android device. You can now use it as an authentication factor for connecting to VPN clients, Wi-Fi, email and other corporate apps, as well as for digitally signing and encrypting emails (S/MIME).
In addition to the connector, you need to install the proper middleware app that can communicate with smart cards and offer client certificates that can authenticate you to HTTPS websites. Google has partnered with Drivelock to bring support for a wide range of cards and profiles, including PIV and CAC, onto ChromeOS. You can install the app by going to the entry on the Chrome Web Store and clicking on Install.
Note: For US Department of Defense users, most websites require users to install several trust roots and intermediaries. These are available as official downloads from IASE Tools > Trust Store > PKI CA Certificate Bundles: PKCS#7 > For DoD PKI Only bundle. Once you download that bundle on ChromeOS, go to the Files app, double click to mount the zip and then drag and drop the contents of the mounted zip into the downloads folder. Then follow the import instructions in Step 3 for the following two files, checking all boxes when configuring trust
This is most likely an issue with configuration of root and intermediary certificates. Please ensure that you have followed the instructions to set those properly. If this issue keeps happening, it is probably best to file a bug report with more information.
APK files are available in the download box. When installing from APK file apps from unknown sources must be enabled in the Android security settings. If you have Google Play installed we recommend disabling auto-updates for Fully Kiosk apps. When updating from APK installation to Google Play (or the other way) the old app often needs to be uninstalled. You can use the settings export/import in Other Settings in order to preserve the configuration.
You can use the Load ZIP File button in Remote Admin and Fully Cloud to download and unpack a ZIP file to /sdcard (or to the app private storage in Android 11+ scoped storage mode) on the device. Note that /sdcard usually refers to the internal public storage (not to the external SD card!) on most devices. You have to put the ZIP file on some web server where it can be accessed by the device and provide the HTTP/HTTPS URL. This is the way to make a light local content management. Use with care as all existing files will be overwritten when unpacking the same file names from the ZIP file. Avoid non-latin letters in the packed file/folder names or make sure the packer is using UTF-8 encoding. When using this feature from Fully Cloud you can load ZIP file to many devices with only one click (mass admin). You can set the File Load Timeframe in Cloud Settings in order to randomize the file loading across devices within the specified timeframe (next x seconds).
You can use the Load Content From ZIP File option in Device Management settings in order to download and unzip file from some URL to /sdcard (or to the app private storage in Android 11+ scoped storage mode) folder automatically. Fully Kiosk will check each hour for updates on this URLs (according to servers Last-Modified HTTP response header). On the first app start the ZIP file will be downloaded prior to loading the Start URL. Use Auto-Reload on Idle option to reload the Start URL when device is not in use in order the updated local files can take effect.
2. An app update/install from APK file button is available on Remote Admin and Fully Cloud for provisioned devices with Android 6+. The Disable Apps From Unknown Sources (Disable APK Installs) option must be switched off in Device Owner Settings. For automatic app install you can put the APK file URL into APK Files to Install option in Device Owner Settings. An APK file will be downloaded by Fully Kiosk from URL provided and installed silently.
4. In all other cases you only can tell Fully Kiosk app to download and start installing an APK file via Remote Admin. IMPORTANT: In these cases user input will be required ON THE DEVICE for confirming the installation.
Due to changes in the accessibility service the Fire OS edition of Fully Kiosk Browser will always be an APK file to install. You can get it in the download box. It won't be accessible on Google Play as Google doesn't like apps tampering with accessibility service. Amazon store didn't like our apps for unknown reasons, so our app can't be made available there.
11. Some devices like Echo Show can't grant the requested app install permission and show the permission request repeatedly. You can deny this permission request permanently by downloading and importing this JSON settings file.
Apple's server needs to be able to access either the plist or the ipa or both, but I can't remember for sure which it is now. You could test putting one or the other in a public location just to verifty which it is. It is a pain to make sure no-one outside your company can access the file(s). I ended up writing server-side code to inject a unique one-use token into the itms-services link (when the page displaying it is loaded, after the user logs in) and the url string in the plist (when the plist is requested). If a valid token is present on the request for the plist or the ipa, it doesn't prompt for a login. The token is deleted from a valid tokens table after the ipa is requested once using that token. The tokens also "expire" after a certian amount of time if they haven't been used. I based it on a suggestion in an SO post.
Certificate-based bulk enrollment of Windows Modern devices is now streamlined in 15.6.0. You can now directly download a Windows provisioning package from the enrollment rule, distribute it to the target devices and enroll in SOTI MobiControl. Here, we provide the ability to download a PPKG (Provisioning Package) file from the SOTI MobiControl web console instead of creating it using a Microsoft tool (Windows Configuration Designer).
The SOTI Hub and SOTI Surf Android applications for SOTI MobiControl v15.0.0 are not available on the Google Play Store. You must download the .apk files for SOTI Hub and SOTI Surf from the SOTI MobiControl Downloads page. Previous versions of SOTI Hub and SOTI Surf will remain available on the Google Play Store but do not support the new features released in SOTI MobiControl v15.0.0.
Administrators can now provide access to the Box cloud content management service via SOTI Hub. SOTI Hub agents will have the ability to view, download and search files and folders from this repository.
MobiControl v14 adds support for the bulk enrollment of Windows 10 devices using certificates and provisioning profiles, and removes the requirement for authenticating as a directory user to enroll Windows modern devices.
The Certificates profile configuration supports distribution of private-key client certificates. For root certificate management on desktop devices, you can now also explicitly target various user or device certificate stores.
You can now Remote Control Android for Work Managed Devices for certain Android OEMs with the installation of a Remote Control plugin, and Remote View any Android for Work Managed Profile devices from the MobiControl Web Console.
The SOTI surf app now supports download pausing and resumption, bookmark and history searches, and miscellaneous design modifications to improve user experience. On Android devices only, custom URL schemes (File://) and external certificates are now supported. Download the SOTI surf app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
You can now designate certain files or folders in your content repository as "Mandatory" downloads. These files and folders are automatically downloaded by the SOTI hub app when it connects to the content repository. Mandatory files and folders appear in a separate menu item in the SOTI hub app, allowing device users to easily and swiftly access these important documents. Device users will be unable to remove these files from the app.
All of our photos come with our standard license, which means you only have to pay for the initial download of a file and won't have to pay the photographer a royalty each time you use the image in a way that's allowed under that license. Adding extended licenses to your download can let you use the photo in even more ways.
