Hi! I'm just a normal guy living in New York. I go to work, hang out with friends, take care of my dog. You know, the usual. But it's not all roses up here - recently things have been really hectic and it's like there are too many people for too few resources, you know? But I'm not giving up on this city yet - no matter how crazy things get here, home is where the heart is and that's what keeps me going. In times of need, New York is always there for me - I just have to stop and take a look around sometimes. This is my storyme being a typical new yorker In the fall of 2007 I was thinking about moving from San Francisco to New York. While I was considering moving, friends of mine running the blog "New York City in a Nutshell" asked me to write a guest post about why I chose to move here. So I met with my parents and they said okay if you want to move here, we can help you out with some money too. So that's basically how it all started. I didn't expect it to get so big, but one thing led to another and today I live here with my fiancée, Lili.Moving to NYC - What We Can Expect New York is a pretty crazy city to move to. It's 24 hours a day, every single day. That's just the way it is and you can't really change that - it will just keep happening and happening and happening! I actually find that very interesting. When I first moved here, people thought I was crazy staying up late at night because it's so dark outside. But I think that's what makes New York amazing - the fact that you can't control what happens around you. ^ Being a New Yorker, You Must Embrace New York isn't all about having fun and dancing and eating pizza every night. I think people who live here, we all have to do that sometimes, right? But you can also be a New Yorker and still be serious and take the subway every day and study for your important college exam - it doesn't mean you're not a New Yorker. It's okay to go out once in a while too. That's something I do really well.^ Embrace Living In NYC Like You've Never Been Here Before To Be A True New Yorker! It's amazing how many things there are to do when you live in NYC. You can find something to do every day of the year. It's really hard for me to describe what it's like living here, so I'd better just move on to the next question.^ Never Stop Exploring Here are my top 10 things never to miss when you live in New York City -1. The View From Brooklyn Bridge Park - It's just beautiful! I was amazed when I visited this place for the first time.2. Times Square At Night - You just can't deny what New York is all about after seeing Times Square lit up at night!3. cfa1e77820
